Maple Glazed Tofu
This maple tofu is a vegetarian alternative to ham that's great for holidays like Easter and Christmas.
Ingredients :
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons brown mustard
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 (8 ounce) container firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Directions :
- Whisk together maple syrup, pineapple juice, mustard, and soy sauce in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir tofu in hot oil until evenly browned. Stir in maple syrup mixture and continue to cook until glaze is reduced. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
