Maple Glazed Tofu

This maple tofu is a vegetarian alternative to ham that's great for holidays like Easter and Christmas.

Ingredients :

    • ½ cup maple syrup
    • ½ cup pineapple juice
    • 2 tablespoons brown mustard
    • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 (8 ounce) container firm tofu, drained and cubed
    • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds 

Directions :

  1. Whisk together maple syrup, pineapple juice, mustard, and soy sauce in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir tofu in hot oil until evenly browned. Stir in maple syrup mixture and continue to cook until glaze is reduced. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
